past few days i've been drowning myself in baking. i never knew baking could be so fun :) even though i got burned by my oven and it left a heidously heinous scar on my right arm (its freaking big and brown!!), i still enjoy it. is this a sign of a housewife to be?

so far i've managed to bake 2 1/2 dozen chocolate chip cookies and 1 apple crumble cake.
i'm so proud of my apple crumble cake. its bloody good (i'm really not trying to blow my own horn or anything) but its good. lee lee you must so try my cake! and so i've decided to bake another one for church tmrw since i've otanged one for damn long.

if only life we were that simple
a little tweaking
a little pinching
a little rubbing
and something nice comes out
smelling of honey and lemon
dusted with flakes of sugar
that melt when touched
