the past few weeks has passed in a blur
schoolwork, tests and you.

i feel its a tad too premature
but i guess when you know what you want,
time is inconsequential

people say when you're in love you do crazy, irrational things
but i believe that love is one of the most rational emotions
either you like him or you don't
there's no grey area when it comes to love.
and no amount of time spent pondering, thinking and dwelling
on the issue is going to change that.

its pretty hard to describe what i'm feeling
i feel awake and alive
looking at myself and reflecting on things
i would never have given a second thought to

i'm an open book when it comes to you
and my feelings are worn on my sleeve
i feel bare and naked under your scrutiny
maybe its supposed to feel like that
when that someone comes along

god has been good to me.
